Ford automobiles use the blade profile key HU101. This kind of key was introduced in 2004 and replaced the Tibbe style. Unlike the Tibbe lock, which could be stolen by thieves, the HU101 key provides a much more secure lock. It's still in use on the majority of Ford models today. The profile key differs in the sense of the space and depth between each cut, however the primary difference lies in the shape.
